Ben Connelly
Managing Director
Ben is the principal point of contact for all SGI customers, and is responsible for ensuring each outcome perfectly matches their requirements.

He is present at every stage – whether pre-construction surveys, specs and solution design, through delivery, build and handover, to aftercare and maintenance – assuring clients have cohesive, concise deliverables and smooth continuity.

Ben has 10 years’ experience working as a Mechanical Project Engineer for Tier 1 contractors, and holds a Level 7 NVQ Construction Manager Diploma and CSCS certification.

An adept team leader, his integrity and dedication is shared across every stakeholder and empowers and rewards exceptional work.
Simon Geraghty
Commercial Director
Having previously managed a successful business, Simon is ideally placed to head up our processes and partnerships division. Simon utilises his experience in implementing commercial strategies, conduction market research, and monitoring commercial activities to contribute to the company's growth and goals.

Using open, transparent, and reliable communication, he also regularly audits standards and accreditation across SGI’s supply chain, to guarantee quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
Paul Shirley
Head of Projects
Since starting his career as an apprentice Ventilation Engineer over 20 years ago, Paul has amassed an enviable level of hands-on expertise with Tier 1 contractors, which he combines with a Level 7 NVQ Senior Construction Manager Diploma.

Paul’s practical skills are integral when it comes to project realisation, and he is equally at home putting together detailed programmes, technical subs, and weekly progress reports, as he is organising labour and co-ordinating trades on-site.
Chris Butt
Project Manager
Chris’ career began as a plumber with a strong background in public health and mechanical pipework across commercial and industrial projects

Chris’ time within the armed forces has taught him invaluable experience in how to influence and communicate with others, whilst maintaining robust relationships with key stake holders to ensure project deadlines and targets are achieved and exceeded

Chris Holds certification in Site Management Safety Training (SMSTS), NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Construction Site Management, First Aid at Work and Asbestos Awareness
Laura Thomas
Accounts Manager
Having honed her talents in the financial services sector, Laura has been managing construction accounts since 2016.

Since joining SGI, Laura has further embedded the importance of putting our customers at the heart of everything we do. Her candid manner and sense of comradery across clients and contractors has increased satisfaction and led to many long-term partnerships.

Laura loves finding synchronicity in our networks, and ways in which members can support and learn from each other.
Bruna Zocoloti
Mechanical Design Engineer
Bruna is a skilled mechanical design engineer with more than seven years of experience. She has worked as a Mechanical Estimator for a mechanical and electrical contractor and as a Mechanical Design Engineer for a consultancy. Her knowledge in engineering is derived from her Higher National Diploma (HND) in Building Services Engineering, which she has complemented with extensive training from senior engineers. Bruna has advanced skills in computer-aided design software, which she has honed over the years. Her focus is on designing and implementing mechanical and public health systems while prioritizing the client's needs. She is dedicated and passionate about her work and has a track record of delivering solutions that meet clients' expectations.
Jake Maugey
Project & Pro Construction Manager
Jake’s career began as a plumber with a strong background in public health and mechanical pipework across commercial and industrial projects. Swiftly progressing through supervisor and technical senior engineer roles into project management.

Jake’s technical and methodical approach to every aspect of his career has aided his journey towards a mechanical engineering degree, recently achieving his higher national diploma in building services engineering.

Jake is a key part of the team, working in a hybrid roll between Pre-Construction and Project Management, providing a smooth transition from inception to completion on each project

While we initially focused on properties in London, we recognized the importance of providing our clients with support beyond the city limits. As a result, despite being headquartered in London, we have broadened our scope and are now take on projects wherever our clients require our services.
